New Mexico Mountain Club History
The New Mexico Mountain Club was founded in January 1952 by a small group of Albuquerque enthusiasts eager to get outside to explore with other like-minded individuals.
The Club’s first meeting was held on January 23rd, 1952 and the first outing was on February 3, 1952 to Ladron Peak.
This scrapbook was created by Ruth Stamm, wife of Bill Stamm, who was a Founding Member and first President of the New Mexico Mountain Club.

Club Leadership
